The mission of the New Jersey Association for Children and Adolescent Counseling, as a division of the New Jersey Counseling Association, is to enhance the quality of life for New Jersey children and adolescents by promoting the development of professional counselors while advancing the counseling profession. NJACAC is vested in improving the lives of children/adolescents while also enhancing lives of professional counselors and student counselors via education and networking opportunities.
We are hoping to broaden our base by recruiting members interested in changing the NJ child/adolescent mental health landscape. We welcome both new and seasoned professional as well as student counselors who work with children/adolescents in a variety of environments. Anyone who shares a vision of increasing mental health competency is welcome!
