I am a surfer, snowboarder, and water loving individual. I love the nervous system and how it helps us survive, and, even thrive. Through connection and safety, it seems anything is possible on our healing journey.
In my experience, using a bottom-up model (body-up) has a profound impact on the process of therapy and creating lasting change. I have training in: the flash technique; EMDR 1 & 2.0; flash forward technique; interpersonal neurobiology; trauma yoga, complex trauma; PTSD; play therapy; ego states; IFS; polyvagal theory-informed trauma assessments and interventions and mindful movement.. I am an Integrated mental health medical with a certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and gravitate towards practicing a person-centered and cognitive behavioral, integrative/prescriptive therapeutic approach applied to children, adults & families.
